I wanted to talk a little about energy. It’s a BIG topic but as an intro I'll focus here on energy within us and how energy healing can help.
As we know, everything is made up of energy. That part is scientifically proven.
We are also made up of energy. As complex humans we have many energy centres throughout our bodies as well as above and below our bodies. These are called chakras and they all work to keep us in balance, energetically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Energy is constantly flowing through our bodies, in and out, reacting with the world and the people around us. In an ideal world energy would just simply flow through us seamlessly, like waves in the sea.
However, that isn't the case, we are here to lead a human life, led with experiences and emotions. Life and its experiences can sometimes cause this flow of energy to become blocked. In turn, this can make us feel tired, anxious, stressed, with aches and pains, it can cause a lack of confidence, self-worth, it can cause us to hold back and it can cause us to act small. The list is pretty endless really.
What I will say is, we all go through this. it’s part of our human experience.
Events that happen in our lives can affect us and the energy around it can sit stagnant, not moving, sitting in our energy system for years and even lifetimes. Quite often we wouldn't even know. We need that energy to free up. This is why I love energy work. You don’t need to know the issue to have a treatment or for the healing to work. The healing goes where it needs.
Energy/ Reiki healing helps to clear any energetic blockages around and throughout your energetic body. It can release and heal the energy, which in turn can clear the path to create the change that’s needed. In some cases energy work really is all that is needed to make a big shift.
When people talk about mind, body and soul, the soul for me is the energy. Once you work on the energy, it get’s easier to work on the physical body and the mind.
Energy is everything
